What our patients have to say

We are reliable & trusted
  • If I had 10 stars I would give then all to Dr. Zinder. He saved my 95 year old mother in law from dying not once but twice. First time she fell in the bathroom and gashed her head open and skin on her arm came off. Dr. Zinder literally nursed her back to life coming to our home 3 times a week and personally taking care of all of her wounds until it healed 3 months later. Second time almost 1 year later she just scratched the skin on her leg but because she is so fragile and her skin is so light it became infected and would not heal.

Again – Dr. Zinder to the rescue. For another 2 months he came to our house to take care of his patient and supervised her care when he was not there. He was so patient and polite and it really helped that he spoke fluent Russian. He is truly not just the best wound care doctor in Brooklyn, he is the best and the most compassionate human. He extends life to his patients and if you ever have with an open wound you have to go to Roman Zinder and his team at Wound Edge clinic – you will be lucky if you get an appointment.

  • I was already familiar with this doctor, so I was honestly very happy when I found out that he would be the one treating my mom after she was referred to a wound care specialist.

The doctor is extremely knowledgeable, and the treatment he prescribed was highly effective. Within just two weeks, my mom’s wound healed completely.

I am truly grateful to him. Unfortunately, truly good doctors are rare these days, and we were very lucky to be under his care.

In addition, the entire office staff is wonderful—everyone is friendly, supportive, and always willing to help.

  • I have been a patient of Dr Zinder for several months, and I can say with certainty that he is an exceptional physician. Recently, I was in a terrible accident that caused a severe injury to my leg. I was deeply concerned because every other specialist I saw just wanted to jump straight to aggressive surgeries and complex skin grafts. I struggled to find a doctor who would treat such a delicate injury with the patience it required until I saw him.
While others only saw a need for surgery, Dr Zinder took the time to treat the wound carefully and delicately. He chose a path of dedicated, consistent treatment, and thanks to his expertise and attentiveness, my leg is now almost completely healed. He always takes the time to truly listen, and treats me with a level of dignity and patience that is rare to find. He never makes me feel rushed and explains every step of the healing process clearly. He combines high-level medical expertise with a genuine, old-fashioned kindness.
His staff is also wonderful. They reflect the same compassion and efficiency that he does. If you are looking for a doctor who is a brilliant clinician, a compassionate listener, and a true gentleman, I cannot recommend him highly enough. I feel very safe and truly well-cared for in his hands.

  • I cannot recommend Dr. Zinder enough. After a very unfortunate accident where I spilled a pot of boiling water on myself and sustained a second-degree burn, he took incredible care of me from start to finish. The entire experience was painless, reassuring, and handled with such expertise and compassion.

Dr. Zinder was thorough, calm, and incredibly attentive, which made a scary situation feel completely manageable. The staff, Ellen and Svetlana, were just as amazing making sure I was cared for, answering all of my questions, and helping with scheduling every step of the way.

I’m so grateful for the level of care I received and truly couldn’t have asked for a better team during such an unexpected accident.
